The model is 16-wide. I am not sure what the exact scale would be, but around 1:15. (Slightly smaller than the Legoland Park trains)

Wow!
Fantastic job!
Being a "Meccanoman" in the other part of my life, I must admit that I am smashed by what you have accomplished here!
Hats off to you, this one is a keeper (= not to be dismantled) I hope!
Bravo!

Someone has done a wonderful job. Hard to believe it is only LEGO.
Greetings

Thanks Jacques! It was actually the huge Meccano models displayed in the "Palacio Euskalduna" in Bilbao which inspired me to do this "oversize" Lego model.

-I am referring to an exposition which lasted from 16/12-2013 to 6/1-2014 ("Toys for the whole life" more or less translated from spanish) where I participated in the Lego-group displaying pieces together with other famous groups; Meccano, Barbie, Märklin, Exin and some others... (Playmobil didnt go, as they exposed there last Xmas). Of particular interrest here would be the Märklin group; They exposed a small run-down H0 layout, and a huge purpose-built LGB floor-layout. -But both under the Märklin brand name only.

If it´s a keeper? Really dont know. It would look nice on a shelf in the train-room (I dont display any trains except those that are on the alyout) -But it would be the first time I didnt dismantle a construction. (Need to recycle those expensive bricks!!!)
