No. It means that you can use the CS2 to update the firmware, should some ever be released. This is a big step forward, compared to earlier digital equipment. Since you cannot update the older digital equipment, you are stuck with whatever bugs it may contain. With the new hardware, bugs can be fixed on already sold equipment. If you do not have a CS2, your dealer can do it for you - or perhaps a friend.
