The nice Marklin was sold at Vectis auction last Friday. High that top estimate price!

Marklin HO Gauge 3-rail 3048 4-6-2 DB 01097 Locomotive and 8-wheeled Bogie Tender, black with instruction booklet and guarantee card dated 21/3/1970, Near Mint, box Excellent. Estimate: £70 - £100 Sold for: £140

Marklin HO Gauge 3-rail 3073 Warship Class Locomotive Majestic BR D830 with instruction leaflet and guarantee card dated 15/5/1970, together with 3053 DB E03002 twin pantograph Locomotive, fawn/red, both Near Mint boxes Excellent. (2) Estimate: £80 - £120 Sold for: £320

Mint status, excellent boxes and instruction booklet like new increase a lot the value.

So, for the ones that have money better thing is have 2 locos of each reference: one for display and collection and other for play :))
