Hi,

Just wondering if any of you use a top side creeper ladder like the Traxion 1-100. I need to buy one of these to get better access to the middle of my layout. Cutting a center hole is not an option.

Do you prefer one to the other? Any recommendation will be appreciated.

I have the top side creeper and have used it very successfully. You can reach out very far without the unit toppling over. The only problem I have with it, is that I have a rather large waist and lying on it for awhile is not comfortable. BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin So if you decide to buy one and have a large waist, you better go on a diet. BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin

Seriously, it is very easy to use and remarkable safe.

Greg
Take it easy . . . . or any other way you can get it !!!!

Mike,

Are you looking at the REL3-100? It looks to me like the 1-100 is a floor creeper.

You may be able to order and do local pickup at Sears hardware, if you have one around.

http://www.sears.com/traxion-in...creeper/p-SPM7423442603P

It says in-store not available, but I wonder if the options are different at the store? Or Amazon.com?

I noticed that Micro-Mark also carries this item but it is more expensive than the one listed by sears

Yes Micro Mark Has this ladder but don't ship to Canada. Ordered one from Northern Auto Parts and they will ship to Canada no problem. Also they where the cheapest.

Thanks for your help

Mike,

I'm glad to hear that. I'd be interested in hearing your impressions of the topside creeper after you get a chance to try it out.

Sorry for the delay in relying.

Yes. I looked it up on the web and someone was selling them from country NSW. I had a quick search now and found this site - I don't know anything about them.
