I would ask if you bought some dummy and spoke tracks of the set 7287 and how long they are. Can they be put in "7-30'" intervals ?

Yes, they can be installed en 7-30 intervals.
I dont know how long they are, but I can tell you that they are identical to those that comes with the turntable set.

Yes, I lay K-track. My turntable is the same as yours, but I havent gotten any sheds yet. I dont think there are many with 7:30 separation out there. A Faller model (old Pola molds). Maybe Fleischmann sells one too...¿?

yes, Fleishmann sells a 7.5° roundhouse, with a rustic mechanical system for opening/closing doors (i had to add some springs for a good working).
Faller uses servo motors for moving the doors. Probably more realistic!

of course the Märklin roundhouse works well with the turntable but only at the 15° (every second spoke) tracks

Not really,...

Sorry all,I should clarify what I meant,......
Roundhouse doors where moved by the 'Armstrong' method by crews.Left opened in warm weather and closed in colder weather. There was no motor to do this,in fact some RH had smaller doors so that workers could go in and out without having to open the lok door. Now,using this on your layout is not a bad thing and as more animation to your model railroad.

emm ..
I think about two approaches for the dummy track at 52 degrees and 30'. If one is laid with M tracks and the other is laid with C tracks the result is equal.
I am also thinking about an approach with K track. We can use a cut 2231 or 2233 at 8 degrees and 04'.

2275+2201+2251+2202+cut2233+2200+2200+dummy track.
the total angle will be 52 degrees and 30'. in order to approach the seventh dummy track of the turntable.

greetings from thess/niki, mfg, christos563.

Sad when its cheaper to buy a new 29640 starter set from Germany than a CS2 on its own in Oz, welcome to the joys of Marklin down under .

Em,
Why don't you understand what i am writing ?
And why marklin produces a so expensive set for anyone who wants to serve 20 or 44 locos around a turntable ? It is very stupid to have so many dummy tracks and pay much more money for completing a group of tracks for locos because the outer circle has a diameter of 169 cm or more.
And the only nessecary gap must be on at 45, 135, 225 and 315 degrees in order to put 4 masts for electrification and lighting.

gruss, greetings, christos563.

Good afternoon after 17 months.

I bought the set 7287. Every spoke track is 76 mm long. But i think it is very expensive to have three dummy trucks in every set and l have "low ability" in using as many remises as i want.

I also saw the photo from shamu and will work on it. thank you.

christos.
