Hi all,

Spend the weekend in Aachen (Germany) and visited Huenerbein. Great shop. Also a good reason to buy me a waggon as a reminder. I picked the Twin car Sdggmrs model from Rocky Rail as it was on my list.

It was quite expensive (€ 85,95) and at first I felt a bit dissapointed; the box is rather cheap, has a big "made in china" logo and the trailers included have ugley wheels. I also noticed a print not propperly alligned.

However out of the box it got better and better. The waggons are all metal except for some small details. All parts are factory assembles so there is no puzzling to do with breakable parts. The detail is amazing, just look at the pictures yourself. It runs very smooth and has considerable weight.

As said its out of the box new, so I was not able to test it in all circumstances or say something about durability.

Nice addition to my collection. Still in doubt to buy another five/six to complete a train. The price is high, even given the level of detail and robust feeling. Still it did not give me the premium feeling I have when buying LS Models or ACME rolling stock. I might wait until roco releases their Sdggmrs line this autum.

The pictures ...

Hünerbein is in Aachen, not in Cologne. Makes me wonder: did you buy from Hünerbein on your way back home or did you buy in Cologne from another shop?
