Hello.

Is there a way to find out if my 0230 is complete or not?
I've searched ebay.de and in google but only getting links to various adds.

If only I could find a list of parts as it was sold as new.

Can anyone help me in any way Please?

Regards //CD

It must have a paper or a brochure that reports the quantity of items.
e.g. 10X5205, 10X5207 etc.

Hi, I would email Märklin for the parts list of the set. Write it in English

if you don't know German. They have always answered me back fairly quickly too.

Good Luck, Peter Cool

What a neat idea for an era of no computers. It would go someway to avoiding the embarrassment of missing track pieces after a building a layout from plans sketched on paper.

Thanks for sharing this Markus, I have never seen this set before.

Hi,

Yes, it was a nice idea. But the Märklin - product was just a copy of an product made by HERPA, today better known for their model-cars, trucks and jets. MÄRKLIN started selling these sets (which were produced by HELJAN) in 1981, just when the original patent had expired. The inventor was Willy ADE (German patent DE000001807869U) who owned WIAD, constructed many TRIX-models and founded RÖWA and ADE.
From MIBA (a German model railroad gazette) No 3, 1962:

My original Digital Starter Set 2610 (K track) also contained this track planning game among the accessories, quite cool.

Which hole have you been hiding in for the last 30 years?? OhMyGod - 0230 first appeared in the 1981/82 catalog.

There were also the 0206 and 0207 track planning stencils for M and K tracks respectively.

A big hole and I have not been with Marklin for 30 years, which is why I have never seen the set before this..
