If I only had the space... Looks so much more prototypical than H0 and smaller gauges... BigGrin

Don't let that stop you, I don't have the space either.........

But then, I'm lucky to know some people who do have space, and belong to a club that has a modular G1 layout.

Thanks for sharing the link Anders, there's some cool videos there (even if I can't understand a lot of what they're saying)

Hi Anders,

Thanks from this nice video. ThumpUp Very detailed stuff. I have not either enough space so we have a H0 1:87 scale layout in our train room. But I´m lucky to have quite big living room and I´m planning to buy some tracks for my big diesels. Maybe a starter set tracks 310 cm x 240 cm and then three 90 cm straight tracks more per side so 580 cm x 240 cm temporary living room layout. There is also a place near us having a big outdoor Scale 1 1:32 layout so I can run them in the future there also RollEyes .

By the way, we where visiting at yesterday Finnish Railway Museum and there is many very detailed 1:10 scale locomotives. The most amazing one was a steamer built between the late 1920´s and early 1930´s. When we put a 20 cent coin in the display case where it was it started to move it´s all wheels... What a feeling to see such a fine mechanic old thing working. I was Drool ...... And the locomotive looked just like the prototype even when it is over 80 years old. It must have been very hard work to do it back then.

Regards,
Janne
Märklin H0 digital layout. I have analog and digital H0 Collection. Rolling stock mostly from era I, II, III and IV. Märklin 1 gauge beginner.
