Dear friends, good morning from thessaloniki,

in some last catalogues of Marklin and Trix there is a better plan for the turntable 7686 that can be copied and be used as supplementary tipp on a plan.
A. Now we can think of a fully laid circle for locomotives that has a diameter of 123 cm. The entrance will be laid with 5221+5205+5200+5201+51**+5106 ( 30+30+15 degrees + straight )
or 24611+24206+24230+24215+24***+24### ( 30+30+15 degrees + straight ).

Concerning plastic tracks the entrance can be laid with 2261+2234+2231+2233+2291 and we have a radius of 424.65 mm.

If we use a sleek switch and widen the radius .... up to 618 or 643 mm ....... :
24720+24912+24530+24206+24***
or 2275+2274+a cut piece of 2251+22**+2291. The cut piece must have an angle of 23 degrees and 38 minutes in order to meet the remise of 52 deg and 30 minutes, the seventh place of the turntable.
---------------------------------------------------------------

B. The transfer table is thought as a small revolution in the modellism. My idea is to use two turntables vertically and opposite to each other and create a parallel "main line clearance" of 2X387.00 or 2X387.50 mm.
And the great interval will be available for 8 shed type 7289 (for 16 locomotives) that will be shown as a kingdom of locomotives.

Emmm.

Does anybody know if the transfer table can be extended ? e.g. for 10 or 15 lines ?

with greetings, christos563
