Hi all,
I'm in the process of building a diorama to depict a Marklin day's type festival, the location is fictional but the event will be somewhat prototypical, to include a station (converted to a railroad museum) platform area with 3 tracks, vendor tents, beer tent, and everything else involved with a festival. The diorama will be 4 foot by 4 foot populated with several hundred people, the track is live with MS controller, and everything's lit up with LED's. most parts and pieces are scratch built, the station is a Vollmer kit painted with details added. Here are some pictures of some of the parts. Let me know what you think.

Bill,

The attention to detail is great. Really clean, without being too clean.

May I ask, what makes up the street-side sidewalk of the train station and the level crossings for the track? Are these purchased, or custom made? They look very nice.

Hi Brandon,
the sidewalk is made from Plastruct cut and scored, and painted to look like concrete. The"newer concrete" track crossing is plastic the other is made up of strip wood. I will try to get some better pictures
