I just received my 37045 Re 4/4I 10036 and thought I would leave a short review:

Railroad: SBB
Depot: Rorschach
Revision: R3 Yv (Yverdon) 17.11.86

Photo of the actual 10036: http://www.bahnbilder.de...oks~re-4-4-i-re-410.html
Video of the Trix version (22245) by Brunellorosso on YouTube:

The lok comes in the red livery introduced by the SBB in 1983-85. It is the same model as the earlier 37044, but in the more recent livery.
The lok has white LEDs with Swiss changeover, 3 lights in the front and one light at the bottom right at the rear. The lights can be switched on/off using the function f0 key. f2 activates the station announcement, f3 activates the horn. f4 deactivates the acceleration/delay settings.
The paint job is very nice and the details are nicely printed.

Weak points:
1) The model comes with the same black pantographs as the 39421. It would look better if outfitted with the grey ones used for the 37360 Ae 610.
2) The model comes with the same lame mock Schwyzerduutch station announcement as the 37044. I would have preferred to have the same generic German one as included with the 26557 Re 4/4I TEE model.
3) The model comes with the same light grey foot steps as the 39420 and 37044. Once again, it would have been nicer if they would have used the dark grey ones that they used for the 39421 (10023) or 26557 Re 4/4I TEE.
4) The horn sound remains active for as long as the f3 key remains pushed. It would be nice to have a separate long and short horn sound.

The appropriate coaches for this lok would be the lightsteel coaches by Maerklin (43361, 43371, 43381, 43391, 43401) as well as EWI (Hag, Lima or Liliput), EWII (Roco) as well as the RIC compartment coaches (LS Models). This lok was not designed for push-pull use so it would not be seen pushing a pilot coach (under any circumstances).

All in all, I am pleased with the model. I hope to be able to replace the pantographs and the steps with the correct grey ones in the near future.
I would have liked to see a little more options from Maerklin, possibly including full sound and possibly additional lighting options.

Overall, the model makes for a welcome addition to my Bahndepot.

Regards

Steps were ordered from Maerklin and are waiting to be swapped out. I ordered the parts from the 26557 TEE version. I'm sure that they will look better than the ones that are on it already.
I will have to check to see if the 39421 parts were the same as the TEE one.

Here is a photo of my lok upgraded with the grey pantographs (154966)
