Hi all,

Had some 1935 track and points delivered this week and those connectors were on the cables, could they be from 1935??

Ian.

Nope, but those sure look cool. In my observations, the early 1935/36 connectors for Marklin 00 do look different from the ones of later years. First, the early 30s connectors are always black instead of the later red ones you see. Also, especially the very early ones are thinner and longer in shape and the pattern on the cloth wiring has white dots in it and the cloth is softer. I have a box of original wiring with connectors if you're interested in anything. Also way too much 1935 track to store Blink

Best wishes,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the information.ThumpUp

The connectors do look good, and I think I'll use them anyway. Smile

Hi Ian, they look like Trix to me. Both Trix Twin and Trix Express used them.
