I have modeled another unpleasant scene on my layout: a group of ca. 18 years old teenagers, who just got their driving licenses are trying to get rid of it again, by having "a few" drinks... They have already been joined by a group of punks, who just started begging people for change... Regards, Florian |

Some background information for people outside Germany: You can buy beer (*) if your 16, heavy fuel if your 18. You must be 18 to get a drivers license (young people will lose it when caught driving under intoxication, older people may have up to 0.5 ‰ alcohol without losing their license as long as they drive faultless). No brown bags required when drinking in the public.
In other countries, folks get the drivers license with 16, but must be 21 to buy heavy fuel (drunk out of brown bags in the public).
(*) this includes beer with 10+ vol. % alcohol
Nice scene, Florian. But must be a rich man's child to have such a nice new car as a teenager. |

Interesting scene Florian. Unfortunately there's a heavy drinking culture here as well, although it is usually not in public like that and there are ongoing drink-driving campaigns here.

Hi Florian, Nice scene. The guy with the yellow top/blue jeans must be drinking Redbull, he's got wings. Ian.

Thansk to Tom for the additional information about the legal situation of driving and drinking in Germany and other countries. I still have some more pictures from this "special" section of town... Regards, Florian |
