A small step by put on landscape materials.
I did just glue down with clump foliage so you see and notice white glue.
Remember...it´s not finish yet and there is a lot of work to do!

Era I is not often selected by modelers. It encompasses also the mid-nineteenth century as well as World War I. In my collection are some vehicles of that era which I have absolutely no idea how to accommodate--the countryside is always safe. It is interesting that you choose to model Silesia and southern Poland. You have equipment specific to that region and period?

It´s station name Krakow which are in Poland that it seems so.
But under era 1 Preussen did owned area of today southern Poland.
Of course i could have choised another station that comes from Bayern or even Wurtemberg area.
I´m not using only Preussen steamlocomotiv.
I use also Bayern and Wurtemberg models too.
So in my layout there is no specific exactly.

I did an mistake about to creating hill and mountain landscape.
This brown background colour imitation southern Spain landscape which is WRONG!!!
I have decides to change my landscape around my curved track.
It take an while before i can show up pictures by doing difference to create landscape with other kind of work.
Plaster cloth to form hill and mountain is wrong and brown colour as the baseground.
I´m right now testing in another way and it take some time to show up result.

Did some work since last month.
I did changed landscape since the brown colour wasn´t good as baseground.
I did used this time modeler clay which dries in the air.
It is an Das pronto clay.
I did put on some grass and high grass to test.
Yesterday i did lay ballast from Woodland Scenics.
Tomorrow i shall dirty ballast on the track which will simulates the prototyp.
Here is some pictures.

Nice Goofy !

Funny how in 1st pic ballast seems ochre color ... then in last pics it's grey ...

Guess it's the light on it ^^, maybe also camera angle, setting, time of day ... ?

Also, the "hill test" certainly looks better in it's context than all by itself ^^ ! BigGrin

Anyway, great progress, thanks for posting ThumpUp

I think the first one is incandescent light with no flash, the others are direct flash. It makes the camera choose different white balance settings...which basically impacts the colour. In reality it is probably somewhere between the two in appearance.

It does look good, you've been busy Goofy!

Hi Anders,

Sorry for not getting back to you on your layout's progress, but since my last post (10th February) I've been unable to see your photo's.

All I see is a whole bunch of numbers and no matter what I try, I do not see any photo's.

Must be something wrong with my own computer, as everyone else seems to see your photo's.

I shall keep trying or maybe some members can help me out with this.

Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Ian.
