So, as yet I've not ran her, maybe on the new layout. I will need to take some photos of the Set in the display case, like you say, it all looks very nice. I'm showing my modest collection of BV1's on BW Part III and that's how the photo's were taken. Ian.

Both the Wilhelm and Ludwig sets, things I have dreamt of for many years now but not enough funds to get them... So nice to see that they are still around for sale, and that they get a good home...

Hi Panayotis, Yes, it's a great size for a small layout like mine. Some of my other steamers look a bit out of place in my station or goods yard. I'm also looking forward to the Br56 which Marklin are bringing out next year.

I think this is the loco that's been done in the most different nationalities! Maybe someone can confirm or dispute this?

This week I bought two engines on eBay, one a few days ago, Marklin 3072 (BR 212) which should arrive today and Marklin 3021 (V200). I was able to get both at very reasonable prices so I am really excited. I have been looking on eBay for sometime for both of these, so I am very happy. The plan is to add Loksound chips to both. Will share pictures and video when I get them.

I don't think it was run much as the slider is clean and the when I took it apart it still looked as if everything was new. So here are a few pictures. I now have to order a decoder, as I mentioned before I had planned on going with a LokSound V4 but the motor takes up alot of room, so I am not sure about speaker placement. I might be able to place the speaker next to the decoder, I think I will have to do some measuring.

Joined: 11/07/2010(UTC) Posts: 912 Location: Wine Country, CA		When I do my conversions so far I have always left the three pole motor in the engines and simply added the permanent magnet and ESU Lokpilot or LokSound and in all cases I have been very pleased. This time I plan on replacing the magnet, I will isolate the lights and convert to LEDs, add the ESU Loksound v4 chip and add a speaker. I am hoping to order the chip tomorrow from my dealer and should have them here by next weekend. If all goes well I will have the conversion done by next weekend or so. I will take pictures and post videos. Chris
