Still the best tool of all to use when making scenery.......the FingerBigGrin

Mehmet, what did you use between the tracks?

Is it cork?

As I like the way you filled in between the tracks (especially in the stations and yards) to the level to the bottom of the sleepers and rails.

I have tried a few different ways but still can't get it right.Cursing

Hi MMRCSA,

I certainly agree with about 'the finger' and here what I did with the tracks...

This is the material you need:Some glue, fine sand, geen material, some paint brushes and an M-Track(the last one is very important)Smile

UserPostedImage

You put the glue very carefully without touching the black traverses, middle nails and the two rails

UserPostedImage

you sprinkle the sand and the green material as much as you wishbiggrinWait for a few minutes.

UserPostedImage

Shake off your track or use a vacuumcleaner to get rid of the extra material you do not want on your track.
UserPostedImage

Your new track must be looking forward to welcoming your locso and cars now...Cool[:I]biggrin

Do not forget to check the M-Track with a loco incase you have some problems. In that case clean the rails and the middle pins very carefully. You can use a very fine sandpaper.

....and also put aquarium sand on both sides of the tracks....

Cheers,

mehmet

Hi Mehmet,

May I asuggest a quicker way of doing your glueing, not the tracks but your scenery ground.

Use a spray bottle with 50 % water and 50% woodglue, a drop or two of detergent (enhances the flow aspect), sifter your ground material (sieve) and spray your selected area (cover all other areas), let it dry and go over again if needed.

Below is an example of different applications with the same method.
