Hi all
The 60924/60932 kits seem to be out of stock at dealers in South Africa and Marklin. Also Lokshop does not have any.I have now learnt that Marklin will be introducing a new line up.

Anyone know about this?

Hi Reuben
I'm told the new decoders for diesel will be 60944, 60946, 60966 - released 3rd and 4th Q, price 23, 76, and 76 Euro respectively from Lokshop; add about 25% to that to get it to RSA.
And for steam 60943, 60945, 60965,same prices and release dates as above....but you would have to look up the detail on Lokshop site as to what exactly these "do"...??
there's also a new series....60941, 60942....i think the 41 is a new 5 pole motor??....will be out July and 4th Q respectively....price for 41 is 23 Euro, and 42 is 30 Euro, again add about 25%....
Check out the detail on Lokshop or M web site....
dunno if this helps?!?
Joe

Yes, it seems that they will have motor conversion kits and decoders/sound decoders sold separately.

Good approach in my eyes, since those of us who have "some" old 6090-decoder loks can upgrade to mfx/sound for a more or less reasonable price without having to buy a new complete kit with motor parts...

Lokshop has the 60941 in stock now (23 Euro - Reuben, that's about R300 to get it into RSA); I believe this is the 5-pole kit I would need for my BR 85 3309.
The 60943 and 60944 5-pole kits are not yet available-altho Lokshop has the 60943 on order now-same price as 60941.
The decoder kits: 60962 is what I need for the 3309-not available yet, Q4 I believe, at 31 Euro (about R400 landed in SA, Reuben); and the same for the 60942.
Sound Decoders: Diesel: 60946 and 60966: not available yet, cost 76 Euro (about R980 to get it into SA from Lokshop)
Same price and availability for steam sound decoders: 60965 (the one I need for my 3309) and 60945.

I have 2 or 3 decoders from the 60760 kits (I use ESU Lokpilots instead). If anyone wants these, send me a PM.
