Hi,

I'm visiting Munich (edit: It's Hamburg what I'll be visiting this weekend) this weekend.

Can any of the forum members suggest some railway stores to visit? Is there something similar to ETS in Hamburg, or close?

I'm interested in Märklin stores as well as general model railway shops.

Many thanks.

There is still a store on Track 11 Hbf, I believe. Also Obletter on the Stachus. Several others in the area.

I'm sorry, it's not Munich but Hamburg where I'll be this weekend. I travel so much that sometimes I don't know where I am, or where I'll be. I've edited the first post & the topic title. Sorry.

just try these keywords with googl.de : hamburg modelleisenbahn shop
the 4th hit gives you the names and locations of some shops.
additionally you find the 'maerklin store' at the levante-haus in mönckebergstrasse, just a 5 minute walk from the main station. in my eyes this shop is disappointing, a little bit of 'tristesse'.... but their main shop is just 2 streets away in 'altstädter strasse' and is far better and has not only maerklin (from there again 5 minutes) and the people in that merklin store will show you the way.
another 'classic' MRR shop is : modellbahn meyer , location : beethovenstrasse 64 22083 hamburg, a little bit outside of the city, i would suggest google maps to find it.
enjoy your stay in my home-town.....
