Finally! Episode 56 is in English.
I was getting tired with watching the time tick away on the beautiful Märklin Clock Tower.

In brief
Showing assembly of various loks including the Z scale steamer with new valve gear. Talk about small!
We get to meet the 1st Märklin Club Nürnburg with their various layouts.
Announcement of new club lok of class 58. All metal. All new tooling. Will have matching coal car set with real coal loads.

I watched and listened to Episode 57 several times.
Apparently, focus is on G scale for the moment, the LGB gauge of Maerklin.
In March 2013 we will see the first issue of a magazine called BIG,intended to promote the LGB segment.
One gentleman comments that the title has also been chosen because the word BIG is well understood in the USA(!).
Perhaps we see a renewed Maerklin effort in that direction.
Later on the CEO of Maerklin says that thought is given to issue a separate magazine for Trix also.

Furthermore, the CEO is saying that at the Nuerenberg fair Maerklin will reveal a new sales concept for the Maerklin shops(!)
It has been realised that sales via Internet is making life for the shops more difficult and as such Maerklin will help the shops to survive.
Let us wait and see.
Have more than you show, speak less than you know (Shakespeare).

Episode 57 for me bought the most important news of the very fully digitally featured N Scale Insider BR18.6, including regulated smoke output and flickering firebox light !! Cool

Some of these features can be done to a certain extent with ESU V4 decoders !? It will be interesting to see what they are doing in this regards for Marklin HO, I would expect them to be incorporated in the HO Insider Kl 58 as well Woot

I found some previous English editions of Marklin TV purely by chance on a website linked from the Marklin Spain website. The episodes seem to be from 2011.

There seems to be about 11 episodes there.

Hi pdiamd, it's not the brightest thing to do to post your login details and passwords on an internet forum. As it happens, the Insider Club webpage says that that member cannot be found.

You should contact the Insider Club by email to find out the correct details - Clubverwaltung2 at maerklin dot de (substitute the @ and . for at and dot)
