Hi thanks for your input. What wanted the Trix one for is, to swop loco bodies over with my Marklin 3 rail traxx models. Unfortunately the cost of convertion to two rail is to high as I would have to put two rail wheels on all my stock, and I would have to clean the trackBigGrin
Apart from that I will just have to weight for a Marklin TGV DuplexLOL

Märklin uses the same wheelsets for the two-rail and three-rail Hobby TRAXX locos and conversion is fairly simple in either way - at least if you have a multi-protocol controller.

With regards to the Märklin Hobby locos: They all have DC wheel sets. So conversion is really simple. Simply remove the pick up shoe and move one power pick-up wire on the main board.

A wire bridges the gab between the two power pickups on the boggies, remove that wire and your model is a DC model.

I did that with a Märklin BR 146.

If you want the shell for 3 rail AC, why don't you just search for 36856 (185 099) or 36893 (Railion Schweiz)? They can be had for the same price as the Trix model you were looking for.

Hi, I don't suppose you could put a picture up, of what you have done to the circuit board. Cheers Dan.
