It seems some problem by navigate pictures from iphoto and cut the pictures to this forum.
So is it possible to get same picture i did show up before with the windows, but this time with the apple Mac and Nikon photo program?
When i did cut and fixed my pictures and download here,my pics shows over 3000 kb!
Yet i did used 800x600 pixled!!
I must have done some wrong here...

What I do on my Mac:
- Export from "iPhoto" (e.g. to Desktop for easy retrieval)
- Open photo with "Finder"
- Save as JPG format after setting resolution to a low value
- Check file size in "Finder" and repeat above if size still too large
- Upload photo to forum

P.S.: In my view, already ca. 80 KB photo size is good enough for proper presentation in forum.

This latest version is not the same program as i do have in the CD disc, which did followed with the camera.
My old version is 4 years old.

Hi Maclineers!!,

....and what I do on my Mac :

- drag photo from iPhoto to the desktop
-double click on photo icon, it will open in "preview"
-on preview menu click on "tools" , go down to "adjust size"
-there is already a "1024x768" choice in "custom" - click this
-the image is ready for download to forum.

I would like to say this is all my IT savvy but in fact it is from the genius of Adrian (moderator) who advised me how-to when I first joined !!!

Regards,

PJ

Apple decides to quiet iphoto!
There will been new program "Pictures".
I think this will appear next time by upgrade operative system.

Okey...
I did tested my upload files from my camera to iphoto, but files ended in the Nikons ViewNX2 instead!
How strange...
I did clicked on the iphoto by start download files from the camera.
Any who knows about that?

P.S.
When i did shut camera off,the iphoto disappeared and Nikons ViewNX2 still remains on.

I have not tested Apples new program "pictures" yet.
If i decides to use "pictures",i must first delete Nikons program ViewNX2 in my computer.
