Hello all, i have a problem with my locomotives. Whenever the locomotives run on the track, they keep on stopping abruptly very often. One locomotive especially, stops very often. I dont know if it is lose connection, low battery or what. Looking for help. Thanks

Hi!

If this post was in the H0 section, we would at least know the scale. So we know nothing.
Some information about the track system and the locos would help.
Regards
Tom

You mentioned batteries. Is this a problem with the "My world" battery sets or battery operated controllers of digital sets?

If it's the digital locomotives running with battery operated handsets, then the cause is more likely to be dirty tracks. Give the rails a good clean with a solvent such as alcohol or white spirit.

Contact problems after several days of inactivity are often caused by rust on the centre rail.
Run the loco a few rounds at full speed and contact should improve from round to round if rust is the problem.
It cannot harm to clean the outer rails (using non-abrasive methods).
