I have some M track points that have been previously converted to run the point Lantern on a separate feed but uses the road bed return . The solenoid is using the normal set up . Will the return feed from the light interfere with the digital feed from a CS1 reload as the M track running rails are the common wire ? I would be using a variable rheostat to control the brightness of the light after going thru a AC/DC power supply .

Hi, Tom,

A common ground between CS1 and external power sources is no problem. Do not connect anything else to the power supply of the CS1.
Regards
Tom
