Hi. Posted April 11th, 2015

I have my CS2 connected to a wi-fi router and I have been routinely getting my CS2 updated by the net with no issues.
However the last update done last month some time seemed to be successful but now I have not been able to see the log (the one with evergreen in it) just a blank screen.
I hit update and there is a countdown but at the end, says that it could not connect.
I know the wi-fi is connected to the network as my computer also uses the same router and I get internet.

So, first off, did anyone else do an update on their CS2 with no issue recently? If so, then the problem is on the home front. If not, then the Märklin site has issues...
If I do have a home issue that an update went bad on it or my usb crapped out, would a restore do the trick?

Also, do I indeed have the latest update?

From my CS2
Hardware Version: 5.1
Software Version: 3.8.1 (11)(c)

As I am using it at SUPERTRAIN 2015 in Calgary next weekend, I want to get the latest but I also do not want to do anything that will make it non-functional before the show.

Hi!

A post on Stummi's Forum from yesterday states that the CS2 cannot get updates now. Märklin confirmed the problem and they will start working on it at Monday.

Wait a few days and try again next week.

3.8.1(11) is current - except for some LGB loco images maybe.
Regards
Tom

Thanks! Whew! I was not looking forward to dealing with a corrupted CS2. I will wait and let you know the outcome.

Other people wrote it worked again since Monday - but failed again on Friday.
The web servers are on a weekend vacation.LOL Try again next Monday.
It seems 3.9 is not yet available anyway.
