Joined: 22/05/2011(UTC) Posts: 8 Location: London, England		Hello, is it possible to test a Marklin locomotive with a 9-volt DC battery? I wanted to buy a locomotive from the Internet unfortunately I don't currently have a Marklin controller although I've already pre-ordered the 29484 starter set but it's taking long. Thanks.

Joined: 16/02/2004(UTC) Posts: 15,266 Location: DE-NW		Hi! You can test analogue Märklin locos with DC, but some digital ones will not work. Some locos may not yet move at only 9 V though.
