My CS2 60215 is hooked up to a Netgear WiFi extender. Using this connection to update the CS2 software works fine, so the connection itself should be OK. I downloaded the Marklin MobileStation app and it connected to the CS2 - for about 30 seconds. Since then I get "Not connected to CS2" no matter what I try. The phone runs iOS8.1.3 and it's IP address is 10.0.0.50; router address is 10.0.0.1.
The CS2 version is 2.43. Under the IP tab I find (I think) the correct settings:
IP addres: 10.0.0.50
IP Mask: 255.255.255.0
IP Gateway: 10.0.0.1
DNS Server: 75.75.75.75

The CAN gateway starter is set at "auto," and the target address is 10.0.0.255 (I tries other values, but without result). Confused Confused Confused Blink

Help!

The IP of your cs2 shouldn't be the same of that as your iPhone. Try setting it to 10.0.0.49 instead- or something nothi else on your network is using (or use dhcp)

DHCP did it. I should have thought of that, but got thrown off track after reading (and misinterpreting) the article in Volume 23, Number 2 (March-April 2011) on the subject, Thank you so much!
