Hi all,
Does anybody know any way for connecting a SUSI device (a sound module in this case) to a Lokpilot V4.0 M4 with 21MTC interface?
The Lokprogrammer shows an option to enable SUSI, but I couldn't find any information about how to connect the module to the decoder.
Any help will be welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Hi!

Some locos have a SUSI socket on the loco board.
Otherwise you can always cut off the plug and solder the connections.

Tom

Hi Tom, thanks for your reply.
My question is related to a Decoder-to-SUSI connection.
SUSI standards establish both a protocol and a wiring scheme.
Pin1 - black - Ground
Pin2 - gray - Data
Pin3 - blue - Clock
Pin4 - red - Power (Unregulated + track voltage)
Whay I need to know is to what pins of the 21MTC I have to connect the four SUSI wires.
Soldering the wires to the decoder is not a problem.
Regards,
Jorge.

Hello,
I would think your best place to find an answer is here:
http://www.esu.eu/en/dow...anuals/digital-decoders/
If the maker of the decoder can not tell you what you need, I do not know who could.

But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

Hi Matt,
I belive I've found the solution.
21MTC has four pins that should provide both voltage and info to the SUSI sound module.
16 - V+
20 - GND
5 - clock
6 - data
Will try that and see what happens.
Regards,
Jorge.

Hi Matt et al, my solution has worked.
CV124 must be set accordingly.
Best regards,
