i had these photos in an old salamander shoe box for as long as i can remember. as i understand; it was my father's uncle who lived amongst his trains in an appt in east berlin (before the wall). he was a carpenter by trade and an avid cardboard scratchbuilder. i don't know if these are marklins because i never saw a vintage steamer with a ''tub-tender'' then again my knowledge in this field is limited. hey, check-out the guy's bed under the benchwork! man that's living!!! mike.

Even seems to have lighting in the coaches of the second photo (RH top row).

More to the point than the bed, how does he get into the side cabinet now the track runs in front of it ?? Confused

it's a narrow lift-out section. he must have access to his underwear, unless he's a commando. mike.
