Hi, I've always had Marklin train and track and now want to add some buildings and scenery. I see Noch has some nice laser cut models. These appear to be more pricier than the faller/kibri sets. Is that a true statement? Can I get more for my money by going with a certain brand? Thanks!

I have mixed feeling about the Noch products. E.g I find the preiser people of higher quality than the Noch people. I have doubts about the Noch laser cuts, again mixed experiences. The Busch laser cuts have a much higher quality and have real wood. There is more in the scenery world regarding buildings. Besides Faller, Kibri and Noch you have Vollmer, Auhagen, Artitec and more. It's true, the plastic buildings are a little bit shiny, but so are some laser cuts too. Weathering a plastic building is not too difficult.
It's al depending on your requirements.
