As we all know, the versions of the 4415 reefercar are almost countless.
Whilst the original 4415 in white represents the prototype, the car has mainly been used for paid advertising by all sorts of companies, which see this as an effective means of promoting their products, even in scale 1/87.
I consider it likely that none of the cars with printed advertisements have ever run in real life.
There are many beercars, which are worth collecting in their own right.
There are versions for products which never required temperature control, such as the Dutch versions for Drum tobacco and Douwe Egberts coffee.

And there are versions with a twist,a bit naughty, but still acceptable to most.
Take a look at 4415-484 Triumph and 4415-483 Sloggi,i like them!

I remember seeing htose announced in the Insider magazine as advertising cars for a company in Denmark. I did investigate getting them, but they were far too expensive to justify them.

I do have a 4415 Viagra wagon, and the Billy Boy container wagons (I think it was Utkan had a photo of one of these recently).

When the Triumph & Sloggi vans were first announced my wife suggested that I should buy a couple of each van & have a short train made up with them . When I made enquiries about availability & price from the Swedish ?? company that had rice them made for their local customers I was shocked at the price which did not include P&P back to Australia . Naturally the sale did not continue .

Cheers Tom in Oz , who sometimes thinks he could be a dirty old man in disguise .

One could argue that you would need a reefercar to keep the hot ladies on ice. Wink

Picture taken in Denmark,right?
Interesting picture because there are hardly any photographs of this type of reefer car.
Perhaps it was taken from a railwaymuseum just for the Sloggi advertising campain?

Nope, I made it in Photoshop. Smile

I do not know the origin of the original picture, but I do remember that finding a picture of that particular wagon turned out to be extremely difficult.

Now why couldn't he have taken a photo of the other side of the car? ;)

Steven,

I do not think so.
Sloggi made a lot of these advertisements, also as billboards, some were more discrete than others.
Around the last Soccer World Cup event there were special Sloggi campaigns, also for holland, involving local celebreties such as the wife of Wesley Sneijder, known for her good looks.

I was able to get both of these several years ago with the help of Mike from Euro Model Trains. I think they may have been done for Tog og Tekno (they have some tamer special imprint cars right now, very nice looking). I don't think I have ever tried to order from them directly to the USA.
