Marklin SNCB 4397 coach set help!

Joined: 18/10/2012(UTC) Posts: 1,378		Hi Marklin have made in the past a long wheel base coach, which made up a set for the Belgium market. The set is 4397. Is there a lighting unit for these coaches I ask, as they look a nice set and are on my wish list! danmarklinman attached the following image(s):

Joined: 10/08/2009(UTC) Posts: 3,443		Dan, I do not think there is a Marklin lighting set for these coaches. It is basically a Trix product from 1993 adjusted for the Marklin AC system. Trix were known for the very fine details of their plastic coaches,also Marklin were about to take over Trix at that time. I ploughed through the 1993 Marklin catalogue. The productnumber 4397 is mentioned but in the sparepartlist no mention is made of a lightingset for these coaches. Still a nice set! Paul.

I would not like to try my luck on such a nice set. Paul.

		Ray Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

When I get them I will put some pictures up of them and there underside. It should not be to difficult to put a slider on at least one of them. Without damaging them. I wish to place figures in them, anyway. So they have to come to bits
