Dear All

I have a Marklin HO digital layout controlled via ecos 50200 and Windigipet 9.x. I have a couple of viessmann 4011 signals that are currently controlled manually via a switch. I would like to control these automatically via the windigipet software, I presume I need some sort of decoder and feed back will be via s88's.

Thanks for your help

Andy

Hi Andy,

You are right: as the signal does not have a pair of solenoids but only LEDs, you need one decoder for switching lights (K84 or newer types from Märklin, or from other manufacturers like Viessmann, etc. etc.) and contact tracks and/or switching tracks with S88 feedback module.

I do not have any Viessmann signal/digital component (only Märklin), so I hope other more expert people will give you more informations about the most suitable components to use.

Cheers

Renato

I used Viessmann 5210 and 5211 modules.

see: http://layout.mixmox.com/1/signals-1

I also built most of my modules from kits... see http://layout.mixmox.com/1/Viessmann-5291_kit
