I a fit of madness I bought two Markin HO passenger trains on eBay. I always wanted and admired Markin quality.

My problem is that because I have no track, much less a layout, I have no way to test the trains when they arrive. I'm hoping that there is a Marklin modeler nearby with a layout or a test track. I live in Pomona (eastern Los Angeles County) so Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, and most of LA County would be fine.

Thanks for your kind help

Hi "df1965" (a name is always helpful) hint hint

Welcome aboard, nice start into the hobby ThumpUp

Why not simply be bit more wild and buy some track and a controller? Won't cost you much

M track is cheap as chips but you mar prefer the simplicity and ease of the newer C track, just make sure you get at least one feeder section.

Regards

(I'll tell you mine if you tell us yours) BigGrin

PS - I've deleted the duplicate identical posting in the HO scale sub-category, no need for it twice.

Thanks for the suggestion.

The reason I'm looking for a "test track" is because I bought them on e-Bay and have a limited window for testing them to make sure they are complete and work OK. I would like to buy some track and a power supply afterward.
