Joined: 12/08/2006(UTC) Posts: 9,013		I have found more information with this model. E93 07 was created year between 1933-1939. The prototyp E93 07 exist today as museum locomotiv. The model with picture in Maerklins homepage shows three headlight front.

Piko has three product lines: Hobby and Expert come with cheap decoders (but still run OK), Classic models (like E 93/193) come with better decoders and more details.

Of course, it was not a ready-to-run model like that from Piko, but a white metal kit. Add a week or two for the slow canoe to "down under". It's in the letter: show patience or contact your dealer.

Joined: 25/01/2009(UTC) Posts: 300 Location: Sydney, NSW		Thanks for the feedback guys - in reference to the dealer, I watched them enter the order into the insider order page on the Maerklin website. Furthermore, I saw it appear as an ordered item in my profile page on the club site. Then interestingly, the E93 disappeared from my club page in October 2014 while the associated car sets remained. I send an email to the insider club asking why this had occurred and have yet to receive a reply. Yesterday, I spoke to my dealer about the certificate and he advised that despite the toy fair having been finished a week ago, he can't even get in touch with Maerklin. Interesting times. I am confident it will eventually arrive as I think the item was more popular than anticipated and suspect they would have had to organise a second (or third) production run. I seem to recall receiving a similar certificate for the BR56. Cheers, Michael.

		Matt Era 3 DB lokos, coaches and freight cars from across Europe But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control. With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

Seeing me - although we never met before - he recalled that I had never been able to shoot Märklin's E 93 (37870). Hence, he turned around, went straight home and brought me his model for a shooting session. Lucky me...

		Ray Mostly Marklin.Selection of different eras and European railways Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.
