Hello,
has somebody heard about a new railway control system named ALAN?

Sounds to me a bit unreal, isn't it?

Any comments?

Sounds like it's a souped up & refined version of that great German system where decoders are connected to the track to control analog AC or DC loks...
Cant remember the name of it though, it had a "cool & serious" German name...

Stationary decoders for block control or Progressive cab control.

Popular for N-gauge users using DC trains e.g.

Brgds - Lasse

Digital 11m2 layout / C (M&K) tracks / Era IV / CS3 60226 / Train Controller Gold 9 with 4D sound. Mainly Danish and German Locomotives.
