Traditionally announced at the Cologne show at the end of November.

Detail of 2015 Insider models in the 6/2014 due end of November But I think Marklin send details to dealers early November as it did last year.

Not my era, but era I is something that needs more of Marklin's attention. The odd and unusual provincial lokos and rolling stock are entertaining to see. A time when the railroads were still learning their way and trying different solutions to problems.
Matt
Era 3
DB lokos, coaches and freight cars from across Europe
But I do have the obligatory (six) SBB Krocs
ECoS 50200, all FX and MFX decoders replaced with ESU V4s, operated in DCC-RailCom+ with ABC brake control.
With the exception of the passenger wagens with Marklin current conducting couplers, all close couplers have been replaced with Roco 40397.

An Era I set is very unlikely as it would not be widely popular IMHO, even tho I may consider buying it if the Lok appealed to me. It would need to be a high tech Lok tho Glare

Fortunately for all of us Goofy, is not on the Marklin Board of Management, or we'd be facing another bankruptcy real quick Tongue Scared

If any one was seriously wanting to predict the 2015 Insider Offerings, would not that Customer Wish list from the Poll M did a year or two back be a good place to start ?

We've already got the 05.003 Cab Forward from that list, for this year. ThumpUp

" Every Marklin layout needs a V200, a Railbus and a Banana car", not to mention a few Black and red Steamers, oh and the odd Elok !

CS1 Reloaded, Touch Cab, C Track Modules, K track layout all under construction. Currently Insider

Yep. The poll was in 2010 and it is very likely that either the first or the second 2015 H0 Insider model will be one from that list:
https://www.marklin-user...Insiders.aspx#post242354

The E 93 is not on that list. In 2014, the second H0 Insider model was from the poll while the first was something completely different. Time will tell how they handle this in 2015.

I guess an Insider model is the most profitable way for Märklin to introduce a new mould.
A nice loco with two car sets or coach sets allows the Insiders to spend €800 on exclusive items.

In about two months the Insider models will be known. In about four months the new items brochure will be available. Then we can count pages, new models, and new moulds and see which way Märklin decided to go.

IIRC they made profits each year since they entered bankruptcy.

It's nice to speculate, though!

I would love to see an S 2/6 from Marklin!
