Glaskasten BR 98 after gear repaired

Model loco with plastic gears have sometimes a broken gear or damaged tooth. This happened with this nice model, too:

I dismantled the gear box ...

...and found one gear with a deformed tooth:

I decided to remove the damaged gear and assembled the loco (which was very dificile) with only one sgaht driven directly by the gear, the other one now only by the connecting rods. But it runs very well and strong enough:



Sorry to say, that this little loco isn't mine!
