Hello,

Can anyone confirm they still have full throttle behavior on your old Steam locos when in MFX+ CabMode ?

And anyone who has tried the new electric skins - do your Throttles work ..
a) at all
b) properly
when using the the Red knob?

I find the Red knob for the brake is also "limited" compared to what can be done with the stylus

I will be doing an update this weekend.
Do keep in mind that in professional and specialist mode in the full screen, the power and brake knobs are more like power control rather than speed control....much like automatic transmission cars.

This means that if you are pulling a heavy load, you could have full throttle but still be slow going...
This is particularily magnified with steam loks because if your fire is not hot, you do not have much steam and you will go slow. Also happens if you have too much water in the boiler.

You will also go into emergency crawl mode if you run out of consumables (water, coal/oil, fuel, sand).

Thanks Harald,

Yes I am familiar with the fuel and crawl concepts. But I think even these have changed

What I have is a couple of situations where the on-screen throttle works and the Red Knob doesn't
In one case, if you use the on-screen throttle to change the speed - any subsequent movement of the Red Knob just the speed straight to zero.

I await your results.
Peter
