There is a new V3.0 for the MS2? Did You test it and is there a relevant change for the MS2? I recently updated my MS2 to V2.3. Today I wanted to return the CS2 to its owner. So, is it woth to do the update to V3.0 before I return the CS2?

There are no changes for MS2. There is running an update to V2.4 but afterwards, the MS2 still reports V2.3.

The changelog also reports no changes for the MS2.

updated also. took about 55 minutes. I updated the CS2 without the MS2 attached. After CS2 update, I connected the MS2. It asked if I wanted to update the loco DB. Did. After that MS2 asked if I wanted to update it. I did, but CS2 still says the MS2 is at version 2.3

It seems the CS2 does not update the MS2 if it already has version 2.3. The CS2 updates the update file on the MS2.
I used an "updated" MS2 to pass the "update" to another MS2, but that one also kept version 2.3. But it also "updated" its update file.

I didn't check all known MS2 bugs. I checked only one and it was still there (the keyboard bug that shows when editing loco names).

Tom

Took a while to get 3.7.0 (7) and subsequent v2.3 from v2.1 on MS2 - but all looks good now.

Do we have a subject on here kept for listing known bugs of CS2 and MS2?

Flawlessly update here. Took about 45min.

I just rebooted once, but seems that the entire process to boot or to shutdown it's faster than 3.6 firmware...

Just my impression or anyone also have the same perception?

Cheers,

Walter
