Hi guys Im not sure if this has been discussed before on the Forum. Some of the sliders on my locos are changing colour , but are not showing any wear signs. So my question is what is the best way to clean them. Fine sandpaper, fine steel wool, some sort of metal polish. Or should they be left alone. Take care. eDDIEConfused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused

Eddie, any abrasive compound will remove the shiny surface, just use a cleaning lubricant and wipe it off but make sure no lubricant goes near the rubber tyres or the wheels themselves.

Hi Steven, Loco # 3021 is going very well with new slider. The old one was all bent out of shape and part of it had come away from the plastic part. Thanks a lot. Take care Eddie ThumpUp ThumpUp ThumpUp
