Wow! You get mail delivery on Saturday and Easter Saturday at that too.

I see that the E93 has an ordering deadline of 30 April. Based on past mail performance, there is no way that the package will reach Australia before 30 April. My guess is Monday 5 May. It is a good thing that it is not one of my desirable models.

The order form came with an earlier mailing (1/2014). If you want it, make your decision without seeing the poster ...
The deadline on the order form is March 31, but it was extended to April 30.
"The response has been very positive ..." and so they extended the deadline and included the poster in the second mailing ...

Thank you Tom. I had forgotten about the earlier offer.

Specifically pg32.. =

...br 93 : On each side of the doors handrails seem to be plastic....ThumbDown
...however on another thread showing blue body of some E93 models hand rails clearly look metal...
What is the right one ?

I know the German Marklin Magazine usually has more pages than the English MM, but is pg32 different to the English one Confused (I assuming you don't have a copy of the German magazine....?)

Page 32 of the English MM is about the Marklin 1 Gauge Br 38.

The online "contents" for the German magazine notes the missing article of this "World First". (Weltneuheit : Bei der neuen BR 01 senkt sich der Kohlehaufen im Tender je nach Verbrauch.)

The reference to pg32 is reinforced by the (erroneously retained) reference of "see P.32" on page 10 of the English version (paragraph headed "mfx+ permits realistic train behavior")

In German MM 2/2014 starting at page 32 is a five-page article about the new BR 01 with the pile of coal that moves up and down.

It's not unusual to see such articles in the English MM one issue later. High quality translations, high quality proof reading and high quality type setting require time.

You can see the pile of coal in action in the current episode of Märklin TV (for outsiders in German only). The MM article shows what's under the hood, but the video shows other aspects.

The reference to the non-existing page 32 is an error, but I bet the article will come in MM 3/2014 in English.

At last! Mine arrived in the post today.

Actually the delivery is a little ahead of schedule. 1.5 weeks after Steventrain's delivery, which is 2.5 days earlier than the average.

I still don't understand why NZ gets it earlier! They are further away than anyone! It does not make sense. RollEyes
