It should run with either the Motorola 28 or Motorola 14 setting.

If it's an ESU V4 M4 decoder, it should register automatically and run using mfx.

Hi.

Are you saying the code can be 28 or 14 if so that is no good because I have no way to reprogram it to run on the CS2.

Charles.

That's no problem: the CS2 does not implement 28 speed steps for Motorola protocol anyway, but with Motorola protocol the decoder runs automatically on either 14 or 28 speed steps without re-programming.

So with the CS1 you can use Motorola 28 or Motorola 14, with the CS2 you can use DCC with either 14, 28, or 126 speed steps or Motorola protocol (with 14 speed steps).
