I just pulled these four boxes off one of my shelves; for the most part they were empty of locos and rolling stock. One had some boxed track in it for storage, and two others had loose track in them. They are all red boxes.

  • CM 805/3
    SET 846 3
    3201
    CE 829/3

I have the contents around here somewhere in one storage box or another, but would like to put the proper contents back in their respective red boxes and make them whole again.

Would any of our experts care to tell me what belongs in which box? Some pictures, if available, showing the contents in boxes would be fantastic.

I have found or not found if you like that it is very difficult to find box contents info for most makers on-line. Perhaps I have not looked hard enough.

Thanks in advance for any help. ThumpUp

The one above was easy, I haven't got the catalogues handy and I might be wrong but it sounds to me that the SET 846 will have a larger green electric loco, the 3201 a red and grey diesel loco and perhaps the CE829/3 might have a small electric loco. Probably someone else will come along and confirm that otherwise tomorrow I'll see if I can find the cats.

Hi Peter,

Except for 3201 all sets were delivered with rails 3600 (center - rail) until 1955 and from 1956 with 3601 (5100 - stud contacts) - rails .

Thanks very much to all for the links, information and pictures. My question has been answered. Now I have to find the contents for the boxes, wish me luck.

This is a really great forum with many knowledgeable members from many continents. I have browsed through every post in the Collectors Corner section and will start on the others soon. I have learned a lot just doing just that.

Thanks again to all members, moderators, owner, webmaster et al.
