Perhaps someone has more information on the 'miles of private railroad' built for the movie?

That was really interesting, thanks for posting and now I totally want to see it!

I tend to take things at face-value so if they are saying that this was all authentic, then that would be quite an impressive undertaking.

Perhaps they could branch out into railroad construction, they certainly seem to do a good job of it, accepting of course that these props were only built to last weeks or months at best and are fairly light-weight.

All that said, they work and did what they wanted so big ups to them from me ThumpUp ThumpUp

They might have built it, I'm sure the invoices will indicate it wasn't cheap but to me doesn't look very convincing.

Like you Cookee, I am looking forward to seeing it but some of the stunt scenes certainly did not seem too realistc. That said, I am a big fan of the idea that studios rebuild or build rail from scratch - hoping that on completion of filming, some level of legacy could be maintained such as the case of Hobbiton, following the complete rebuild of the village for the last trilogy.

Token.

Thanks, fun to watch but certainly not like the final train scene in the 1962 epic

"How The West Was Won". I believe stunt people were really injured making that

scene. Peter Scared

Hi Token,

thanks for posting,
though very impressive, I'm a bit sad to see destroying trains Sad ,
even if they build them to be Blink .

Best regards
Joël
