Those interested in the larger of the large gauges, 127mm & 184mm, we had our annual meeting first week end in August, this year it was in Pietermaritzburg. The track is about 900 meters in length and was well attended. I took my engine down "Micaela" down as well, the event lasts for two days, we moved about 2500 passengers during the two day's.

This was the ninth year running, each year there is tremendous growth in visitors

Hi Hannes,
Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing. ThumpUp
This Live steam event must have been great with everyone having lots of fun.

I'm fortunate that I live close to a very big "7 1/4 inch Gauge" layout in a beautiful park, where volunteers run live steam trains every day.
I visit the track every week for an hour, very enjoying to watch the spectacle and never boring.
In July last year I uploaded some photos on the forum, see here: LINK
