Hello,

I had posted some pictures of the Panama Canal mules in a recent topic. Now, you will find a new batch about the Panama Canal Railway Company, an historical train line. This company offers intermodal container services as well as a touristic passenger service between Colon and Panama City. During our stay in Panama, Louise and I took that train for a very nice ride along the Canal and Gatun Lake.

And don't miss a visit on the Panama Canal Railway Company's official website ThumpUp . The "History" section is very interesting.

Pierre.

Fab shots indeed!

Now get back to that layout from all that railfanning and build a diorama of this! Wink

My best to you and Louise!

Bonjour Pierre

Some great pictures thanks ! I noticed that you have been to Krakow in 2011 - you took great tram pictures. I was in Krakow a month ago (in Dec (2012) and only manged a few some tram / train pics on the go. We picked up a fine for not autorizing our bus tickets back from the salt mine ... so you learn.

Thanks Herman.

I usually take train and aircraft pictures everywhere and when I have the opportunity.

We escaped a fine last year at Venice when we took a public bus to the airport with a private company ticket ... There are tourist traps everywhere !

Pierre.

You are right ! In fact, Panama Canal Railway Company is a joint venture between Kansas City Southern and Mi-Jack Products, a North America’s leading independent intermodal terminal operator.

Pierre.
