Joined: 15/03/2013(UTC) Posts: 50 Location: South Brisbane, Queensland		Hi again, By my estimates the DRG 44 pulled 3.5 times what the prototypes pull however they aren't loaded put some scale sized loads of metal in the wagons and see how they pull, I reckon it may be close to the prototype and put them on a 1.5% grade Still they are impressive.

I was always very bad at Maths in school but the following facts might be useful..... Loco weighs 709 gr Each wagon weighs 56 gr

Joined: 15/03/2013(UTC) Posts: 50 Location: South Brisbane, Queensland		You'd need to find some way of measuring the pullbar strength and then multiply that by 87 to give you the models tractive effort but generally they out pull the prototypes a single 44 would not be able to pull 100 wagons on it's own I don't think but the American Big Boy could on a level track.
