Well;

As you may have noticed from other posts, my collection is a bit eclectic. It also sometimes strays a bit from this forum's namesake.

The following gets into some of the more eclectic elements. To make things a little interesting, there are six different manufacturers in this post. For your skill testing questions,
What are the manufacturers in this post?
And if you get that right, which engine is from which manufacturer?

Let the game begin.

Jon

I did mention it was a bit of an eclectic collection.

There has been rather alot of HAG entering the house as follows. All latter part of 2011 and 2012 shipments.

I have been meaning to buy a new camera with decent HD video. Unfortunately this internet thing means I keep finding all this Hag all over the place. Latter part of 2011 and start of 2012 have been absurd. I will need to wait to Christmas to re-consider camera.

Ok; now stepping away from "what foolish items I have bought lately" to more of a theme. This is the early years of the BLS theme.

It's not even two thirds of the year through but I have to put a restraining order on remaining purchases for 2013. The following are the Re 4/4 variants that have come in the house in 2013.

I have always loved the "Milk Cow" 460 loco...

And that articulated "Meyer" steamer 98 014 looks absolutely fabulous... I just love these kind of oddities on track...

I saw Micro-Metakit classifies this as a "Mallet", but that loco is clearly a "Meyer"... Wink BigGrin

I presume the BLS double electric is from Roco, one of their finest models ever...

Thanks folks

Juhan;

Actually the Ae 8/8 is one of my first Hag pieces that I bought in the mid 90's a few years before the Roco version arrived. I do agree though, that the Roco version is stunning. The Ae 6/8 in that picture series is Roco as well and is definetley in my top 5 models of all time; truly a great piece.

Thanks

I have mention that my collection is a bit eclectic. As you can see from the previous posts, there has been a surge of Swiss into the household in 2013. However, the following demonstrates that the German side was not completely neglected in 2013.

Well folks, the same problem encountered in 2013 has carried over to 2014. There are simply a lot of great new'ish or very lightly used items on Ebay and Richardo. The following is the 2014 to-date items. Clearly a more severe moratorium needs to be put in place.

Fantastic train collection, some great liveries I have not seen before.

May I ask what is the make and product number of the green railcar that is 5th (?) picture from bottom in your last post.

Many Thanks

Glenn

Glenn;

Fifth from the bottom is a Hag BDe 4/4. It is a single railcar. This particular version has the old SBB writing; it is a bit harder to find as the newer SBB writing and logo versions can be generally found on all the auction sites with mild patience. This particular model is number 154.01 or 155.01 depending on your preference for AC or DC (AC is 154.xx).

Thanks

Many thanks for your detailed response, I think one of these railcars would look great in my Collection, and is now on my wishlist. ThumpUp ThumpUp
