Very lovely, How is the run and sound?

The sound is nice. But this type of loc has not the best eloc sound.

Running is very good and the loc drives very smooth and the motor doesnot make much sound.

Thanks for the reply, davy.Smile

If you search with patience to www.ebay.de it is very possible to find a spare part for your Zeppelin.

You don't have to open the loco: you can check the decoder manufacturer on the CV screen of the CS2 (either 151 for ESU or 131 for Trix). Loco manufacturer is always 131 (i.e. Trix).

I cant't seem to locate a Marklin prop that isn't $50.00. I'll check the aircraft hobby store now that I have an example to bring them.

Sorry Svein, I needed to bring some Swedish stuff also even if it doesn’t is made by M BigGrin

Roco has done a wonderful job with their new edition of the Swedish Da locomotives. This type can still be seen in service by small railroad companies, and 2013 must be a celebration of 60 years and still running.

It comes with ZIMO 8-pin sound decoder, personally I change back to orignal ESU decoder and speaker.

Svein, I'm thinking to lett my friend who lives in Oslo to pick up one of El18 for me, seems like the NSB logo different on each side?

Is the sound from the original engine?

Hi Jonas

The logos are different, just as on the prototype 18 2255. The logo on the RH side is the current one, the logo on the RH side is the previous one, still found on many locomotives.
As far as I know are the sounds from an original locomotive.

Good effort by Roco recently. You can see they have improved tremendously after the takeover by the Modellbahn company especially the packaging.. They have start to pay attention to the packaging by using cut-soft-foam instead of the hard foam used by Marklin! I am sure it 's a pleasure to run this model on your layout right? Enjoy and have a nice day! BigGrin
