Hi all

as part of the Marklin Club UK team (Confused ) I went along to meet Dan from the forum and his M layout at the above show. It was a one day show held in a church hall. There were a number of layouts there including three or four Z gauge.

Firstly to Dan and his layout;

It is very well detailed even down to rabbits, hedgehog and blackbirdBigGrin

Other layouts included;

Strachan - a loosely based Scottish layout.
Note the Inverness number on the bus and it's destination BigGrin

A Minic roadway

Begian/French Z gauge

Finally in Z gauge that has been modified and the owner builds his own British outline engines, coaches etc.

Then, did you know Bachmann made these? Apparently they were for a TV series that was canned after the first series leaving Bachmann with all this lot. The owner of this layout bought all these cheap through a shop called TK Maxx

A nice little show and it was certainly a pleasure meeting Dan. See you again soon Dan.

Cheers Mike thanks for the nice report. You gave me some ideas when you bought your picks along of your layout. The M track which i already have will be put to use on my layouts extension. I nead more room for my thalys set!LOL Getting out with my layout and getting nice comments as made me spur myself on with Marklin HO, as for to long i have waisted time thinking about ather layouts that could be built. There is nothing better than spending time playing trains and talking to those who like what i have done and Marklin! See you soon i will try and get out again with my layout again after a few extras have been glued on! cheers Dan
